Hi,
Thinking of getting a Arduino sheild and start a diy project around lambda wideband sensors on my old mustang..
Does the Arduino sheild support the Bosch LSU ADV sensors?
As I understand it, this is an improvement of the LSU 4.9 and are not only quicker to warm up, but also does not need calibration and maybe even more robust...
I found that the controller for LSU 4.2 - 4.9 is the Bosch CJ125 chip, and for the ADV its called CJ135.
But I can't find anything more about the CJ135, only a simplified pdf, no real datasheet.
But you guys probably know more..
Cheers
/Anders

Re: Bosch LSU ADV support
Hello Anders,
You will be very happy with the performance of LSU 4.9 with Lambda Shield 2 using CJ125.
Thank you.
Currently it is not supported.
The performance of LSU 4.9 is equivalent to LSU ADV. The laser calibrated resistor in the connector of LSU 4.9 is not required on LSU ADV which gives a design advantage.
The CJ135 as well as CJ136 and CJ138 have similar capabilities as CJ125 but interface better with modern microcontrollers. For example 3.3V and digitized interfaces compared to CJ125 who have 5V analog interfaces for UA and UR.
You will be very happy with the performance of LSU 4.9 with Lambda Shield 2 using CJ125.
Thank you.
