Is there an extended list of compatible sensors for the NOx shield?
To be more specific a list of sensors using the SAE J1939 protocol?
I bought a Bosch EGS-NX2 Sensor (12V) VAG branded which does not work with the NOx shield.
After device reset i get an indefinitely "Waiting for sensor to respond" message. The sensor will start to heat up even without the heating LED on the NOx shield lid up. I presume the VAG branded sensor does not use the SAE J1939 protocol.
The only listed 12V Sensor is very hard to come by and i would not mind buying a used sensor.
Thanks for your help!
Markus

Re: List of compatible sensors
Hello Markus,
Basically no NOx sensors from cars will work as they are most certainly proprietary to avoid interchangeable spare parts. SAE J1939 is a standardized protocol for sensors and is supported by most commercial vehicles, unfortunately these sensors are 24V. We sell these on our website.
The 12V sensors exist but are as you say not possible to be purchased at this point. Keep in mind these are fairly new sensors on the market. In the future we might find more sensors to use.
Have a look at our YouTube video for more information.
Thank you.
