Delphi ES20064 Oxygen Sensor
Delphi ES20064 Oxygen Sensor
Hi.
I bought this Delphi ES20064 Oxygen Sensor and plan to use your shield, as soon as i can get my hands on it :)
I made a bad purchase on this sensor, but I need to use it, I guess. Could anyone tell me if this is a wideband sensor that can be used with the shield?
Or do I need to get another sensor?
I intend to use the sensor on a power boat, and plan to send the data to a chart plotter, over NMEA2000. That the next challenge :)
With regards
Knut Johan Giske

Re: Delphi ES20064 Oxygen Sensor
Hi Knut,
Sounds like an interesting project!
Sorry to disappoint you, but the Lambda Shield uses the Bosch CJ125 controller circuit. The only sensor it supports is the Bosch LSU 4.9.
The easy answer is that you should order the sensor that we recommend in the technical specification of the shield. Bosch model 0 258 017 025. Usually you can find this with anyone who sells automotive spare parts.
On the other hand the LSU 4.9 sensor is used in most recent cars, especially if produced by European car manufacturers. So buying a used sensor will not set you back much at all and it will most likely work just great.
You can find some hints on which sensor is used in what car on this website. Just make sure the connector and pinout is correct.
A big warning on counterfeit sensors as they have been reported to give inaccurate readings.

The Lambda Shield is produced and shipped directly from Sweden. I can send it to Norway usually within 1-2 days. It will be shipped with PostNord and they state 3-4 days delivery to Norway.
Looking forward to receiving your order from the store. Once the order is placed we will test your shield and send it to you.
