Anyone knows where to source these stackable headers *with* the labels on them as shown in the picture?
Many thanks!

Re: Knock Shield 2
According to the source code of the Knock Shield Interrupt Example, it should be pin 2: "#define TACH_INPUT_PIN 2 /* Pin used for tach signal from ECU. */" https://github.com/Bylund/Knock-Shield-Interrupt-Example A very good intro by Christian can be found here: https://youtu.be/47qFX65oJoo

Re: Knock Shield 2
One more question: if I used the Knock Schield 2 (which seems to come without the headers) on a basic Arduino Uno or Uno WiFi, would I still be able to feed a tach signal to the shield or Uno? Or will I have to resort to the soldering iron? Many thanks!

Knock Shield 2
Just out of curisosity: What purpose will the two additional resistors R10 and R11 on pins 7 and 14 serve? Thank you. PS: will the add-on board as can be seen next to the new Knock Shield 2 (http://www.bylund-automotive.com/educative/knock2/Knock_Shield_2_Promo.png) be available for both the knock s...

Re: Knock detection for 2CV
The Knock Shield 2 software update need to include this: Function as original Knock Shield. RPM input. Display support. Data logging support. Analog output support. Smartphone app support. What do you think? Apologies for bringing this up again as previously. But could the Knock Shield 2 software u...

Re: Please explain the thing
Or could I interface this to the Arduino Uno already now? I already have the current Knock Shield, ... Maybe answering my own second question: I suppose an angle-angle based signal would - as per the Youtube video on the interrupt example - just be connected to the TACH_INPUT_PIN (2) and then one c...

Re: Please explain the thing
It is no secret that I am working on the updated Knock Shield 2 that will feature signal handling for this input. The first prototype had a simple voltage divider handling 12V inputs. For my next prototype I think I will go for a comparator solution instead, allowing any signal between 3.3V and 24V...

Re: NOx Shield Introduction.
Hi Christian,
Out of curiosity: could you briefly explain what the main use cases for this sensor would be? Is it diesel engines?
Many thanks!
BR,
Pascal

Re: Knock detection for 2CV
You might be right, how about a Knock Shield App for Windows / iOS / Android? Hi Christian, A Knock Shield App, no matter how basic, would be fantastic. Maybe being able to chose between channel 1 and 2, set frequency and gain (drop down or sliders?), set the number of cylinders and have a single s...
