UK Purchase: Details

Post by WarthogARJ » 19 Dec 2021 22:00

Hi,
Can you please confirm the total price for me of a Lambda Mega Bundle?

For:
(1) Individual without VAT ID living in UK
(2) INCLUDING Shipping to Sheffield (S10 1NX)

According to the website it says "Free international shipping if you order for €100 or more! VAT is exempt at checkout for orders outside of the European Union or for commercial customers with a valid VAT-ID."

Therefore it seems to me that a Lambda Mega Bundle including shipping to UK should cost me a total of Euro 160.
Since:
(1) UK is outside EU
(2) Order is > Euro 100

Have I got that right?
Thanks,
Alan

Hi Alan,

Yes, the Lambda Mega Bundle cost 160 EUR for customers outside the European Union, such as the United Kingdom. As it is more than 100 EUR, standard shipping is free. There might be import duties and / or VAT charged by the Royal Mail.

Thank you.

Thanks.
Yeah, in theory they can charge VAT.
Not sure of duty, depends on how it is classified.

Sigh....stupid Brexxit.
A REALLY dumb idea by dumb people.
