The RC-filter in the video uses a 220 µF capacitor. I believe the resistor was around 1.5 kΩ. I am sure you can tune it for faster response, I used parts available to me. Not sure if you are looking for the ESR?

The green wire in the video is connected to the resistor in series as can be seen in this schematic. Red is 12V (VIN) to power the gauge. Black is ground.

np, furthermore I brigded the 2 "Diodes for the Stupid" on the Arduino and LambdaShield.. +0,7V are the result...
