NTK Wideband O2 Sensor

Post by dcarter » 07 Feb 2019 17:48

Can the NTK Wideband O2 Sensor be used with this shield? I notice that in some commercial AFR monitor applications the Bosch & NTK sensors can be used interchangeably. My application is in an airplane using leaded fuel, and the NTK sensors are reported to be more tolerant of leaded fuel.

Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately not. The Lambda Shield for Arduino is based on the Bosch CJ125 lambda control integrated circuit. It is only designed to be used with the Bosch LSU 4.2 and LSU 4.9 oxygen sensors. Newer integrated circuits like the Bosch CJ135-CJ138 support NTK sensors of the sort ZFAS-U2 but the design documents for these are not open by Bosch and therefore not suitable for our educative devices.

Thank you.
