I was wondering how difficult it might be to make the windows application cross platform, i.e. have it working on macos / Linux as well? Just a thought, not a request!

Hello, When selecting the Knock Shield for Arduino for purchase, there is a choice between either the Texas Instruments TPIC8101 or the Renesas HIP9011 knock IC. Are these identical or are there pros & cons to each? If the latter, what would they be? Many thanks for offering these Arduino shield...
