Re: Which knock IC to choose?

Are these identical or are there pros & cons to each? If the latter, what would they be? Hello DonP, thank you for liking our shields! The Renesas, previously Intersil HIP9011 is the original IC, Texas Instruments developed the TPIC8101 as a compatible IC . With the shield you will not find any...

Reports follow, as soon I get the threaded sleeve for the lambda sensor from the USA.
We follow your work with interest!

Re: lambdaShield2 sketch & hardware

The power supply (a DC/DC Converter (5A)) in combination with a little PCB (30x13mm) is used to supress transients The shield will be installed in my YFM660R Raptor and later in my Corsa B. I used a schematic from VW for a T4-Bus for supression of transients. Greetz wolf Thank you for sharing if an...

Shield and power supply in the box...
Nicely done!

Is the power supply for when you are not using it in the vehicle? Both the shield and the Arduino can be powered by the vehicles 12V (14.4V).

Re: UR analog value does not change with temperature

If you send it to me I could verify the function. Preferably with sensor. It sounds like a faulty sensor.

Re: UR analog value does not change with temperature

Since the Mosfet driver, which is connected both to the Heater mosfet and the CJ125_DIAGH through OUTA and OUTB respectively, the CJ125_DIAGH should have a PWM input. The diagnostic register does indeed gives me 0X28FF, and the heater is working, I can see the heating element starts to glow red. So...

Re: UR analog value does not change with temperature

So something strange is happening with my Lambda UR values, I have a constant signal of 860 +- 5 that does not change with temperature, even if I trick the program to heat the sensor. Do you know what the UR output from the CJ125 is based on? Is it the reference resistor in the sensor? Hi, I believ...

Re: lambdaShield2 sketch & hardware

To use an other power supply I thought about connecting Pin X6-4 direct with the 12-volt vehicle electrical system, cause the regulated power supply for the Arduino and LambaShield is connected over a 150µH inductance (+ a bidirectional ZVS-Diode between + and -) to the 12-volt vehicle electrical s...

Re: lambdaShield2 sketch & hardware

Hello Wolf and thank you! 1: is it possible, to use an external power source for the heater, for example, direct from the battery of a car and the shield and arduino from an regulated power source? I assume you are referring to your Lambda Shield 2, this is described in the Technical Manual , 3.2 – ...

Re: Compatibility of different models of LSU4.9

I saw a LSU4.9 on the shopping website The model is 0 258 017 269 Is it available in Lambda Shield? Hi Liuyanting, it definitely looks like an LSU 4.9. I find no information on the internet about it. But I can tell you that it has the right connector. So I can not say by 100%, but most likely it is...
