Re: Beckhoff PLC integration

Isn't it possible to run the lambda sensor without the Arduino? Unfortunately not since it is a Wideband sensor it requires some control circuitry to function. We offer the complete kit for 150 EUR. There are other dedicated options like the Innovate LC-2 for 180 USD, but in my opinion you loose th...

Re: Beckhoff PLC integration

Hello Stan, There is a couple of different ways to connect an Arduino to a PLC. I am a bit rusty on my ladder programming but I can definitely help with the Arduino side of things. I think we can have two ways of interfacing to the PLC depending on its capabilities. An analogue input interface, the ...

Re: Knock detection for 2CV

A Knock Shield App, no matter how basic, would be fantastic. Maybe being able to chose between channel 1 and 2, set frequency and gain (drop down or sliders?), set the number of cylinders and have a single send or apply button? We have a positive user experience from the Lambda Shield App. Not sure...

Re: Knock detection for 2CV

Actually, I don't mind a time consuming challenge in these boring Covid times. It would be interesting to get it working. The car is running now on a very restrained and safe advance angle tabel, based on a diagram i found for the timing of the Citroen Visa (similar engine). I think it can be done ...

Re: Knock detection for 2CV

Hi DonP, Not intending to highjack this thread, but when reading through the task list it came to my mind that maybe some basic software interface to adjust these values would very much lower the entry level: - Knock sensor measurement timing. - Knock sensor amplification and gain. - Knock sensor fr...

Re: Customizing display output

i think this is going to be to complicated for me. i am happy that this is working on the small display. you can try writing a programm for the big 1.5 inch display. and try if you can speed it up using I2C. if not then spi is ok Ali, good news! The 1.5 inch display finally arrived from ebay. I man...

Re: Knock detection for 2CV

I have a Lomax, a kitcar based on a 2CV. Recently I installed fuel injection with a Speeduino. For the tuning of the Ignition Advance Table I’d like to implement knock-detection. Hi Lex, cool car! Has the Bylund knock-shield successfully been used on a 2CV? To my knowledge this would be a first on ...

Yes, the code helped a lot. I deleted "Definice display" because the file did not compile. Everything works fine now. Exactly as I need it. Thank you very much.
Excellent, glad to help!

Is the dyno software available for download somewhere? Greetings.
Hello,

It is only sold with the data acquisition system hardware. As we are in the middle of upgrading to ADAS - Dynamometer II we do not offer sales of the old system at the moment.

Re: Please explain the thing

Hi Diz, Could you please explain how it is intended to work and how i can use it as an input to my ECU. Whats the idea behind this? The Knock Shield for Arduino is a reference design of the most common Knock IC's - Texas Instruments TPIC8101DW and Renesas / Intersil HIP9011. It can be used to design...
